World Earth Day: our commitment to forest regeneration

For us at Rigoni di Asiago, respect for the land and its fruits is a value rooted in our deep bond with the nature of the Altopiano. A tangible commitment that has always guided our choices, from the selection of raw ingredients to our production processes, with the goal of protecting both the environment and people.

On the occasion of Earth Day, this 22 April we renew our commitment through LIFE VAIA, a European project dedicated to the regeneration of forests affected by the 2018 Vaia storm. An initiative involving Italy, France and Spain that promotes innovative forest regeneration models capable of creating resilient ecosystems that can adapt to climate change.

As the project’s lead partner, we contribute to the development of a temporary agroforestry model that speeds up the recovery of the affected areas, encouraging biodiversity, the return of pollinators and new opportunities for local communities.
