Terms and Conditions
1) Introduction and effectiveness of the General Conditions
These general conditions of sale (hereinafter, the “General Conditions”) govern the remote purchase of products made available, via the internet, through the website https://shop.rigonidiasiago.com (hereinafter, the “Site”) in compliance with Italian legislation pursuant to Legislative Decree 206/2005 and subsequent amendments and additions (hereinafter, the “Consumer Code”).
The seller of the products and owner of the Site is:

(hereinafter “Rigoni di Asiago”).
The Site is dedicated to the retail sale of Products and is reserved exclusively for end consumers who purchase the Products for personal purposes and not for any entrepreneurial, commercial, artisanal, or professional activity.
If the user interested in making a purchase is not a Consumer, we invite them not to use the Site. For any purchases on behalf of an entrepreneurial, commercial, artisanal, or professional activity, we invite users to contact us for information at the following address info@rigonidiasiago.com
The consumer who accesses the Site to make purchases (hereinafter the “Customer”) is required, before submitting the order, to carefully read these General Conditions, which have been made available on the Site and which may be consulted at any time by the Customer on the Site and also through the link contained in the confirmation email for each order, so as to allow their reproduction and storage.
Contracts concluded with Rigoni di Asiago through the Site are governed by these General Conditions in compliance with Italian law. The language available for concluding the contract is Italian. Persons under the age of 18 are expressly prohibited from making purchases on this site.
2) Information and characteristics of the Products
The information, characteristics, and price (including taxes and duties) of the various products for sale on the Site (hereinafter the “Product” or “Products”) are shown, together with their respective codes, on the page relating to each Product.
The visual representation of the Products on the Site, where available, normally corresponds to the photographic image accompanying the description sheet. It is understood that the image of the Products is for presentation purposes only and may not be perfectly representative of their characteristics and quality, and may differ in color and size. In the event of any difference between the image and the written product sheet, the description shall always prevail
of the product page.3) Instructions on how to place an Order and conclusion of the contract
To purchase the Products, the Customer must complete and submit the order form in electronic format, following the instructions provided on the Site.
In the event of errors, it will be possible to make changes to the data entered and to the cart, up until the order and payment are confirmed. Once payment has been made, it will no longer be possible to make changes to the cart, without prejudice to the right of withdrawal referred to in point 7 of the Contract.
Following order confirmation, by submitting it through the Site, which constitutes a contractual proposal, the Customer acknowledges and declares that they have reviewed all the information provided during the purchase procedure and fully accept these General Terms and Conditions and payment terms as transcribed.
The contract concluded between Rigoni di Asiago and the Customer shall be considered finalized when Rigoni di Asiago accepts the order. This acceptance is communicated to the Customer by means of an order confirmation email containing a reference to these General Terms and Conditions, the order number, shipping details, the list of Products ordered with their essential characteristics, and the total price, including delivery charges ("fixed fee").
4) Shipping fee
Shipping fees vary according to the weight of the order:
from 0 kg to 5 kg = €6.50
from 5 kg to 8 kg = €7.90
from 8 kg to 10 kg = €8.90
For orders over €79.00 shipping is free.
5) Payment methods
The Customer may pay the price of the Products and the related delivery costs by credit card. The payment methods available for purchases on the Site are:
- Shopify Payments
- PayPal
- Satispay
To ensure maximum security, the Customer will complete the payment transaction directly on the bank's secure server.
The Site does not store the Customer's credit card number.
6) Transport and delivery methods
The Products purchased on the Site will be delivered to the address provided by the Customer during the purchase procedure in the appropriate "Shipping Details" field.
All purchases will be delivered by GLS express courier (hereinafter, the "Courier").
Rigoni di Asiago is not responsible for unforeseeable delays or delays not attributable to it.
Once the Products have been shipped, the Customer may view the status of their shipment in the "ORDER DETAILS - SHIPPING METHOD" section within their ACCOUNT.
In any case, except in cases of force majeure or unforeseen circumstances, the Products ordered will be delivered within 5 (five) working days starting from the day after the day on which Rigoni di Asiago confirmed the order to the Customer by means of the relevant order confirmation email.
Active delivery services (GLS):
The service includes 2 delivery attempts to the address provided at the time of order. After each attempt, a notice will be left. If the second delivery attempt is unsuccessful, the Customer will be contacted by Rigoni di Asiago to arrange delivery. If the Customer cannot be reached or is absent, the goods will be returned to the warehouse.
7) Right of withdrawal
The Customer has the right to withdraw from the purchase contract for any reason, without having to provide any explanation and without any penalty, except in the exclusion cases set out in point III below.
To exercise this right, the Customer must send a notice to Rigoni di Asiago within 14 days from the date of receipt of the Products or, if they wish to exercise the right of withdrawal before receiving the Products, the notice of withdrawal may be sent at any time before their receipt.
To submit the withdrawal notice, the Customer may complete and submit the online form available at the following link, use the form available for download here, or send an explicit declaration of their decision to withdraw to Rigoni di Asiago.
The notice of withdrawal or the completed form must be sent by registered letter with return receipt, addressed to:

Once the notice has been received, Rigoni di Asiago Customer Service will open a return procedure and provide the Customer with instructions on how to return the Products, which will be collected by a courier appointed directly by Rigoni di Asiago.
The right of withdrawal is governed by the following conditions:
I. The right applies to the Product purchased in its entirety; therefore, if the Product consists of multiple components or parts, it is not possible to exercise withdrawal only for part of the purchased Product.
II. In the event of exercising the right of withdrawal, Rigoni di Asiago will refund the Customer the full amount of the returned goods, including the fixed delivery charge, within 14 days from the date on which the notice of withdrawal was received, without prejudice to Rigoni di Asiago's right to withhold the refund until the goods have actually been received. The refund will be made using the same payment method used by the Customer.
III. Also in order to guarantee free returns pursuant to article 8 below, the Products must be returned in the same box in which they were received.
The right of withdrawal is excluded in the following cases:
- orders for Products that are liable to deteriorate or expire rapidly;
- orders for sealed Products that are not suitable for return for hygiene reasons or related to health protection or that have been opened after delivery.
Therefore, for hygiene reasons and to protect Customers, the the right of withdrawal applies only to Products purchased on the Site that can be returned to Rigoni di Asiago and placed back on the market without posing any risk to consumers’ health (therefore, products that have been properly stored and kept closed and sealed after delivery).
In cases where the right of withdrawal is excluded, Rigoni di Asiago will return the purchased Products to the Customer, charging the latter for the shipping costs.
8) Free Returns in the event of exercising the right of withdrawal
As a more favorable condition for the Customer, Rigoni di Asiago fully bears the shipping costs for returning the Products in the event the right of withdrawal is exercised.
In order to benefit from this free return shipping, the Customer wishing to exercise the right of withdrawal must follow the procedure indicated in the previous article 7 and wait to be contacted by Rigoni di Asiago to arrange the handover of the Products to the courier.
9) Warranty and lack of conformity
In the event of lack of conformity of Products sold by Rigoni di Asiago, the Customer must immediately contact Customer Service using the dedicated contact form, available here. It is also possible to call the Toll-Free Number 800 851 451, available Monday to Friday, from 8:45 am to 1:00 pm and from 2:45 pm to 6:30 pm, excluding public holidays, or alternatively send an email to shop@rigonidiasiago.com
The legal warranties provided for by articles 129, 130 and 132 of the Consumer Code apply to the sale of the Products. The Customer is entitled, at their choice and provided that the type of Product allows it, to have the conformity of the Product restored free of charge by replacement, or to an appropriate price reduction or termination of the contract.
The Customer forfeits these rights if they do not report the lack of conformity to Rigoni di Asiago within two months from the date on which they discovered the defect, unless the Product is by its nature perishable or subject to expiry within a shorter period, in which case the defect must be reported within that shorter period.
10) Errors and limitations of liability
The information relating to the Products provided through the Site is constantly updated. However, it is not possible to guarantee the complete absence of errors, for which Rigoni di Asiago cannot therefore be held liable, except in cases of willful misconduct or gross negligence.
Rigoni di Asiago reserves the right to correct errors, inaccuracies or omissions even after an order has been submitted, or to change or update information at any time without prior notice, without prejudice to the Customer’s rights under these General Conditions and the Consumer Code.
Except in cases of willful misconduct or gross negligence, any right of the Customer to compensation for damages or to the recognition of an indemnity is excluded, as is any contractual or non-contractual liability for direct or indirect damage to persons and/or property caused by the non-acceptance or fulfillment, even partial, of an order.
11) Complaints
Any complaint must be submitted to Rigoni di Asiago using the dedicated contact form, available here. Rigoni di Asiago undertakes to respond to all requests received within a maximum of 7 working days.
12) Out-of-court dispute resolution
For any disputes arising in relation to the validity, interpretation, performance or termination of the contract, the Customer may refer the matter to an Alternative Dispute Resolution body (ADR), in accordance with the conditions set out in that body’s regulations and the provisions of Legislative Decree no. 206/2005 (Consumer Code), articles 141 and following.
It is also possible to use an ADR body through the platform made available by the European Commission for Online Dispute Resolution (the so-called ODR platform); through this platform, it is possible to consult the list of ADR bodies, find the link to each of their websites and start an online dispute resolution procedure involving the Customer.
The right to bring the matter before the ordinary courts remains unaffected.
13) Applicable law and competent court
The sales contract between the Customer and Rigoni di Asiago is deemed to be concluded in Italy and governed by Italian law. For the resolution of disputes relating to the interpretation, performance or termination of these General Conditions or of individual purchase orders, exclusive jurisdiction shall lie with the court of the municipality in which the Consumer resides or is domiciled, if located within Italian territory; in all other cases, territorial jurisdiction shall lie exclusively with the Court of Vicenza, to the exclusion of any other competent court.
14) Provision and processing of personal data.
The personal data provided by the Customer will be processed by Rigoni di Asiago by electronic and paper-based means, in compliance with privacy legislation, for purposes connected with the performance of the concluded contract, to carry out the related tax obligations and for any related communications that may be necessary.
The provision of such data is mandatory for the purposes indicated above; otherwise, the company will be unable to process the order correctly.
