Refund policy

Information on the right of withdrawal

You have the right to withdraw from the contract, without giving any reason, within 14 days from the day on which you, or a third party other than the carrier and designated by you, acquires physical possession of the goods. 

To exercise your right of withdrawal, you must inform us of your decision to withdraw from the purchase order by sending a declaration within the above-mentioned period, either by:

• completing and submitting the online form available at the following link; or
• sending a written notice by registered mail with return receipt to the following address:

For this purpose, you may use the attached standard withdrawal form, or any other explicit written declaration of your intention to withdraw from the order, provided that it is sent to the above address in the manner and within the time limits indicated above. 

The right of withdrawal is excluded in the following cases: 

• order of products that are liable to deteriorate or expire rapidly; 
• order of sealed products that are not suitable for return for hygiene reasons or related to health protection, or that have been opened after delivery. 

With reference to the cases in which withdrawal is excluded as listed above, you are specifically informed and accept that products that are “liable to deteriorate or expire rapidly” include food products, since the characteristics and qualities of these types of products may be altered also as a result of improper storage. 

Therefore, for hygiene and customer protection reasons, the right of withdrawal applies only to Products purchased on the Site that can be returned to Rigoni di Asiago and put back on the market without any risk to consumers’ health (therefore, products that have been properly stored and kept closed and sealed after delivery).

In cases where the right of withdrawal is excluded, Rigoni di Asiago will return the purchased Products to the Customer, charging the related shipping costs to the Customer.

Effects of withdrawal

If you withdraw from the contract (except in the cases listed above where withdrawal is excluded).

You will be reimbursed for all payments you have made to us, including any delivery costs (with the exception of additional costs resulting from your possible choice of a type of delivery other than the least expensive type of standard delivery offered by us). 

Refunds will be made without delay and in any event no later than 14 days from the day on which we are informed of your decision to withdraw from the purchase order, without prejudice to our right to withhold the refund until receipt of the goods. 

Refunds will be made exclusively in your favor and using the same means of payment you used for the initial transaction; in any case, you will not incur any costs as a consequence of such refund. 

Rigoni di Asiago will fully bear the return shipping costs in the event of exercise of the right of withdrawal. In order to benefit from this free return shipping, you must wait to be contacted by Rigoni di Asiago following your notice of withdrawal in order to arrange the collection of the products by the courier indicated by us, and must return the products in the same box in which they were received. You are only liable for any diminished value of the goods resulting from handling other than what is necessary to establish the nature, characteristics and functioning of the goods.

Free Returns in the event of exercising the right of withdrawal

As a more favorable condition for the Customer, Rigoni di Asiago fully bears the shipping costs for returning the Products in the event of exercising the right of withdrawal.

In order to benefit from this free return shipping, the Customer wishing to exercise the right of withdrawal must follow the procedure indicated in the previous article 7 and wait to be contacted by Rigoni di Asiago to arrange the handover of the Products to the courier.

Warranty and lack of conformity

In the event of lack of conformity of Products sold by Rigoni di Asiago, the Customer must immediately contact Customer Service using the dedicated contact form, available  here. It is also possible to call the  Toll-Free Number 800 851 451, available Monday to Friday, from 8:45 am to 1:00 pm and from 2:45 pm to 6:30 pm, excluding public holidays, or alternatively send an email to  shop@rigonidiasiago.it 

The legal warranties provided for by Articles 129, 130 and 132 of the Consumer Code apply to the sale of the Products. The Customer is entitled, at their choice and provided that the type of Product allows it, to have the conformity of the Product restored free of charge by replacement, or to an appropriate price reduction or termination of the contract.

The Customer shall forfeit these rights if they do not report the lack of conformity to Rigoni di Asiago within two months from the date on which they discovered the defect, unless the Product is by its nature perishable or subject to expiry within a shorter period, in which case the defect must be reported within that reduced period.

Errors and limitations of liability

The information relating to the Products provided through the Site is constantly updated. However, it is not possible to guarantee the complete absence of errors, for which Rigoni di Asiago shall therefore not be held liable, except in cases of wilful misconduct or gross negligence.

Rigoni di Asiago reserves the right to correct any errors, inaccuracies or omissions even after an order has been submitted, or to change or update information at any time without prior notice, without prejudice to the Customer's rights under these General Conditions and the Consumer Code.

Except in cases of wilful misconduct or gross negligence, any right of the Customer to compensation for damages or to the recognition of an indemnity is excluded, as is any contractual or non-contractual liability for direct or indirect damage to persons and/or property caused by the non-acceptance or non-fulfilment, even partial, of an order.
