Sweet toast

A slice of bread, crisp on the outside and soft on the inside, topped with fresh robiola, Fiordifrutta strawberries and wild strawberries, and a touch of honey. Finished with a fragrant hint of lemon zest, for a simple, fresh and delicious breakfast.

Ingredients

  • 1 large slice of bread or 2 small ones
  • Robiola (you can replace it with ricotta or Greek yogurt, if you prefer) about 50 g
  • Fiordifrutta strawberries and wild strawberries, to taste
  • Honey, to taste
  • Grated lemon zest (optional, but it goes beautifully)

Method

Lightly toast a slice of bread, just long enough to make it crisp on the outside while still soft inside. Spread the fresh robiola over the still-warm bread and add Fiordifrutta strawberries and wild strawberries, alternating them with the robiola until the whole surface is covered. Finish with a drizzle of honey and a grating of lemon zest
